Monday 26th November at 7.30 pm – The Evening Home Group

Details of next meeting in the newsletter.

Monday 26th November – GUY’S LICENSING AT BATH ABBEY

We hope to book a coach and plan to leave at 1.30pm from Normandy for Bath Abbey; stopping at service station/cafés in Bath or similar for food; returning after the service (leaving Bath approx 10pm).  If we can fill a 53 seater coach it will cost £12.50 each for the transport – the cost of the coach will be shared between those on board so this is a guide cost at this stage and will be dependent on numbers.  Please book your coach seat via the St Mary’s Church Office, details in the newsletter.

Thursday 29th and Friday 30th November – HORSHAM FOODBANK

We rely heavily on our annual collections of donated food at Tesco in Broadbridge Heath; this is also a vital source of income because Tesco then give us cash equivalent to 20% of the value of the food collected.  We need volunteers for the next food collection at Tesco and it would be wonderful if the churches were able to support us with volunteers to help out. Volunteers are asked to stand outside the store inviting shoppers to donate an item or items of food from a list, into our collection trolley.

It’s uplifting and rewarding and the enthusiasm of the volunteers has a direct impact on the amount of food we collect. If you would like to find out more, or sign up for a couple of hours to help on either day between 9am and 5pm, please call Kathryn at Horsham Matters 0300 124 0204 or email Kathryn.mccarthy@horsham-matters.org.uk giving details of your availability. Thank you for your support

Carol Service – 4.00pm on Sunday 16th December

Crib Service with Christingle – Monday 24th December at 4.00pm

Christmas day – Celebration Communion at 9.30am

Sunday 30th December – No service at St Leonard’s – joint Horsham team Service at 11.00am at St Mary’s

The Night Shelter will run from 1 December 2018 until 15 March 2019

There are not enough volunteers to make the Night Shelter viable for 7 nights. Please consider helping if you possibly can. There are application forms by the door and more information can be gained by emailing emma.elnaugh@horsham-matters.org.uk or give Natalie a call.

Monday 8th April to Thursday 11th April 2019

Natalie and Margaret are organising a pilgrimage to Walsingham. There are letters containing details and a booking form. We need to get initial deposits in by Friday 24th August, so if you are interested – or might be interested – please take a letter TODAY and bring your booking form back next week. If you know someone who is not here today who might be interested please take a letter for them. Margaret has an electronic version that could be emailed if you let her know. If there is anyone who would like to go but has a problem with the money please speak to Natalie in confidence – we may be able to help.
