Fellowship Afternoon in the Hall .  All welcome for tea, company, games and crafts.

Wednesday 18th October – 2.20pm

The afternoon Home Group meets in the Peter Apted Room.  This term we are studying the Letter of James.

Monday 23rd  October 8.00pm

The evening Home Group meets.  This term we are studying the beginning of Paul’s Letter to the Romans.

Saturday 28th October – HORSHAM CHURCHES TOGETHER

Horsham Churches Together will be running an Activity Marquee in the Carfax. Food Rocks, the Market Operator, will be having a special Halloween themed Saturday Carfax Market on the day and it has been agreed that the churches can have a Light Tent offering crafts and activities for children and families.

Would anyone from St Leonard’s like to be involved with this?

There are two volunteering sessions: 10am-1pm and 1-4pm on the day.

Sunday 29th October – Focus on Mental Health and Spirituality

For the ‘5th Sundays’ of the year we are doing something different. On the 5th Sunday of October the church will be set up slightly differently to normal. We will sit around tables to worship, and discuss Mental Health. Communion will be celebrated as normal. Wally from Anchor Counselling will be sharing his wisdom.

Bacon Sandwiches and Tea and Coffee will be served from 9.15am. Please speak to Barbara or Natalie if you have questions about this service.

Saturday 4th November – St Leonard’s Winter Fair

Kirsty is organising the Winter Fair and would appreciate your help and support! There is a sign-up sheet for running stalls.

Please start bringing tombola and raffle prizes, books and DVDs, Children’s toys etc. Also please leave time to bake a cake!

Sunday 19th November – ‘STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY’

Natalie will be writing to you in due course to fill you in on our church’s current financial position and include some paperwork for you to consider and return on or after this date. We haven’t had a Stewardship Sunday at St. Leonard’s for about 5 years, so it’s a bit overdue. (Many churches have one every year!)

WINTERSHALL NATIVITY PLAY – Friday 15th December

Benedict is organising a trip to this performance which starts at 7.00pm and is a very worthwhile event. Adults £18, Children £9, family (2 adults, 2 children) £50. Transport will be by car and Benedict will put a sign-up sheet out for people attending and lifts. The deadline for booking is 20th August and if more than 10 people go there may be a discount on the tickets.
