ECO CHURCH –  Anyone interested?

The free online survey and supporting resources equip churches to express care for God’s world in their worship and teaching, management of buildings and land, community and global engagement and personal lifestyles. Actions taken count towards a prestigious Eco Church Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. Silver Eco Church Award winning Brighton Road Baptist Church and St. Mark’s Church, Holbrook are now Going for Gold and six other Horsham Churches have already registered to participate in Eco Church. www.ecochurch.arocha.org.uk

The next Southwater Interfaith Evening will be on Thursday 27th February at 7.15 for 7.30pm in the Church Room. The theme will be Jewish Beliefs, Practices and Values, with Rabbi Dr Andrea Zanardo as guest speaker. Please do come along if you can! All Are Welcome!

YMCA DLG have launched this year’s Sleep Easy fundraising event! Posters and flyers that can be shared amongst the churches have been attached to this week’s notices. There are events being held by the YMCA DLG on 20th March but if you can’t make that date, you can always arrange your own! Horsham is taking part in One Good Friday in 2020 where we, as part of Horsham Churches Together, will be joining other towns and cities across the UK in presenting a outdoor passion play. There will be no service in St. Leonard’s that day and there will be jobs for everyone to do. This is a huge and exciting project.
